MR. Configurator Tool

This tool was designed to speed up calibration of your MR setup. This article explains how to use the tool and help you get the most out of your MR experiences. For VR users and streamers, making MR videos is a great way to show a different perspective to people who aren’t wearing a head-mounted display (HMD), while for VR developers, MR videos are a great way to create trailers and show a more comprehensive view of the VR experience.

Hope For Huxley

This is Huxley. We both lived in the small city in Canada called Victoria. His father, Matt, is in college to be a lawyer and his mother, Clarissa teaches yoga. His mother and my wife had almost the same due date. In fact my daughter, Nova, was born on his due date. My daughter, even though she had a rough start spending 3 days in NICU, lives a normal life but Huxley is different. While my daughter aspirated requiring medical attention Huxley's outcome was a bit more extreme. Huxley has cerebral palsy.

There are several solutions out there to help him but the costs are quite high. Most are out of pocket or on loan from the companies that produce them. This puts the technology out of reach of most people.

The major overhead of creating worlds that are capable for people like Huxley is the cost of tracking objects and computer vision. The Movidius Neural Compute Stick allows the object tracking and identification of real world objects on low end devices. Our application would provide assistance with individuals who have limited mobility by providing a lower cost solution in an attempt to democratize mobility and communication. It would be tune-able and customization to fit the individual's needs. There is no reason that a person with a disability can't be helped. With the Neural Compute Stick and a little innovation we can make the world just that much better.
