In this competition, participants will receive a sequential code to optimize and parallelize using multicore processors and GPUs. We'll start with an introduction to parallel programming and the Intel oneAPI environment for heterogeneous systems. Then, the challenge will be presented and supervised parallelization time provided, before offline work until the submission date. The fastest code wins!

On October 27, 2022, I participated in the internal event at Intel Brasil in partnership with the company OITI. The theme of the event was “The Other Side of Facial Biometrics”, aimed at transforming the view of the Brazilian financial and retail market on Face Identification and the future of biometrics.
