Overview / Usage

The game mixes two popular genres: Real Time Strategy (RTS) and First Person Shooter (FPS).

For this, the player can switch between the points of view of the general in a combat – getting the typical RTS view – and their individual soldiers – bringing the FPS.

As the single General, the player can control the position, movement and strategy of the 5 field troops, trying to occupy the valuable Strategy Points that allow a troop to attack. When they get to this type of base, its possible to switch to their eyes, allowing the player to directely attack.

The game is a potential competitive multiplayer, estimulated by the strategic value of the relation between occupy bases and control troops. In this mode, each player controls a side of the field, with one General and his 5 troops.

Methodology / Approach

This project will be using Agile development, taking into account Lean strategies and a lot of Kabam for tasks. (mostly Trello).

It will be developed in Unreal Engine 4, focusing releasing for PC with VR support.

A prototype will be the first milestone, followed by a Vertical slice of the game with multiplayer support and finally a last version with support for Story Mode and Multiplayer Mode.

Technologies Used

Unreal Engine 4, Intel GPA for Performance, NUC 8 VR, Visual Studio, Fastbuild, OpenXR.
