Overview / Usage
SAO is a skill designed to run on Personal Computers and connects with your selected voice assistant enabled PCs/Alexa and authorized computers via this skill. The SAO skill will receive a valid voice command, then the skill will ultimately pass it on to the specified desktops and then run a bash command of your choosing(i.e "SAO, install OpenVINO" voice command - then maps to execute [./install_GUI.sh] script). The possibilities might be that the skill pulls from your stored voice triggers on the website/host system and delivers them to client/remote computers. User can store multiple commands and run parallel automation on multiple computers. Voice Controlling actions have many advantages and possibilities to expand applications, from simply running a program or script to helping with accessibility barriers and enhancing workforce effeciency.
Methodology / Approach
SAO skill allows the user to instruct a voice trigger commands related to working with multiple computers. With SAO skill enables user to run the program with different user or permissions, environment variables, and Operating system compatibility settings. The skills enables the user to save the desired settings into a configuration file and then run the program automatically from command-line with the desired settings. These actions can be done from the user's voice action(trigger) commands which triggers the command-line execution, with result of voice feedback from connected PCs - these may be error-reports, unset system variables, debug info, etc.
