An autonomous rover robot that can navigate around a generic unknown environment, map it and create a local and remote map of it also in unsafe environment.
It use a RealSense Camera R200 to scan the environment and realize a digital mapping of it; the data are stored locally and whenever an internet connection come available sent to an Azure storage in order to be managed by machine learning Backend service that can rebuilt a full 3d representation of the environment.
On the hardware side, the rover is based on a common rover chassis and some common sensor like distance, accelerometer, light. The camera is a RealSense R200 and the board is a Joule dev board with WIndows 10 IoT Core.
The image and 3D stream are managed by the embedded board in order to map and find the correct path in a track
