Overview / Usage

Crooks Like Us is a comedic online 8 player game.

The networking aspect was a challenge for us, we used Photon PUN rather than writing our own.

Methodology / Approach

With video games, everything not only has to run, but it has to run fast.

With Crooks Like Us being a networked game, that added the whole issue of latency.

We used the Photon PUN framework to start with a system that could handle both the lobby ( connecting players into the same room for the game ) and the gameplay ( changing the room to be a level of the game, with just those players ).
