Description

DESCRIPTION:

TASS PVL is a sister project to the original TASS Hub project. As with TASS Hub, TASS PVL is an IoT connected A.I., but this version is powered by the Intel® Computer Vision SDK Beta and built on Windows. The hub connects to a Realsense camera and the frames are processed to detect known or unknown people. The IoT connectivity is powered by a new HTTP Rest MQTT API that has been recently added to the TechBubble IoT JumpWay PaaS.

DESCRIPTION OF DEMO: The demo will be a real time demo where TASS PVL will process frames from an Intel Realsense R200/F200, the real time stream will show the bounding boxes of faces, and if they are happy or not.

New people can be trained in seconds, once a certain key is pressed the user is prompted to enter their TechBubble IoT JumpWay user ID which will then be saved along with the details of their face, a person is only required to be added to the database once to be recognized in the future.

In the event of known person or intruder, TASS PVL will communicate with the IoT JumpWay, which will forward commands to a connected IoT Alarm built on an Intel Edison, turning on a red light and a siren if an unknown person is detected, and a blue light if known. This will provide a simple yet effective example of how A.I. communicate with IoT devices autonomously using the Internet Of Things.
