Overview / Usage

Automated pipeline for camera based photogrammetry using consumer level hardware to game ready assets for use in VR and traditional screens.

Methodology / Approach

Currently building PBR aseet pipeline
Setting up automated processes.

Technologies Used

Capture hardware:
-Sony a6500 with a 18 to 105 f4 lens
Software:

  • Lightroom for primary delighting / normalization of color / lighting ranges
  • Reality capture CLI
  • Zbrush for Low poly creation and cleanup (half manual currently) Macro'd steps
  • Maya (mel scripts for steps
  • Unfold3D for automated UV
  • Substance designer for baking / delighting / maps extraction (prebuilt graphs)
  • Substance painter for manual filling in missing data (automated population of layers
  • Toolbag / Unreal for presentation
