Overview / Usage

This project is a game that we made during the course of two classes in our senior year at college. We started this project at the height of the coronavirus pandemic and set out with the goal to make a game that connected with multiple parts of many peoples new life changes; as well as obviously being entertaining for our players. To do this we crafted an experience that starred our leafy friends at home and strategic gameplay that people could think about throughout their day. Paired with short and fast levels, we wanted people to be able to play for as long or as short as they wanted, whenever they wanted to.

Methodology / Approach

We used a variety of software technologies that allowed us to create highly specialized content within the Unreal Engine 4 game engine. The content was first produced within a mix of Maya, Zbrush, and Substance Painter and then often edited or tweaked slightly in UE4 to work as well as possible. We also used Git and Jenkins CD to ensure this process was smooth across our 10 person development team.

Technologies Used

Unreal Engine 4, Maya, Substance Painter, ZBrush, Photoshop, Github, Jenkins CD, Wwise
