Overview / Usage
Build an open source data acquisition, device management, device configuration/diagnostic platform with virtually unlimited connectivity to upstream cloud systems and downstream edge device connections. Each Edge device apps shall be called as Micro Apps, Micro Services and Connectors, hosted with in NodeSense gateway build on Node.js.
We target Intel Edison, a nice platform with Linux, with Modbus, BLE, WIFI and MQTT, followed by REST implementation. The Device Micro Apps are written using Ionic 2/Angular 2 framework, Micro Services are written using ES6/JavaScript.
We use reactive framework for rich calculation, resolving expressions, resolve units & measurements at gateway level rather than Edge Device or cloud platform.
