Overview / Usage
Every year farmers have to sacrifice a huge chunk from there revenue because of (1) their fruits/vegetables/crops get affected by several kind of pests and diseases e.g: Anthracnose Rhagoletis cerasi Myzus cerasi etc etc (2) fruits/vegetables/crops get rotten because of the excessive humidity,moisture .Even in our house when we store fruits/vegetables/crops in a storage container then eventually they are also get affected by rottenness, diseases and pests.
Intelligent Container going to solve that mentioned problems with it's very intelligent brain-
- It will be able to sense the humidity of the internal environment of the container,Moisture and temperature of the stored item (fruits/vegetables/crops)
- It can easily detect different kind of pests and diseases from the crops/vegetables/fruits
- **It can detect rotten portions of the stored items **
- It will have the capability to send the data to the user smartphone via cloud,also it will display the information through an external monitor.
Methodology / Approach
To detect the humidity and temperature we are using DH11 Humidity sensor.For the moisture part we are using an Moisture sensor which will detect the moisture of the fruits/crops/vegetables .
We are using Open CV in Python to detect the Rotten portions from the fruits/vegetables/crop.To detect several types of Bugs/Worms/pests/insects from the fruits/vegetables/crops we are using Open Vino and TensorFlow.
we trained the neural network with 300 different pictures of worms/pests/insects to detect the insects with a very high success rate.

Micro-controller we are using: Arduino Mega, Raspberry Pi

Tools and Tech stacks we are using: Open Vino,Open CV,TensorFlow,Arduino IDE,Kubernetes,Microsoft Azure.
