Overview / Usage

The **Intel® **Game Dev AI Toolkit from Intel brings the power of AI and machine learning to game developers. This ambitious addition unleashes an arsenal of AI-powered technology, ranging from beautiful, immersive world creation to performant, real-time game-object style transfer visualizations. It provides powerful new object detection capabilities and gives developers the ability to unlock a number of game-enhancement variations, at lightning speeds. The initial release is designed to work with Unity*, with future versions planned for Unreal Engine*.

Methodology / Approach

Foundational tutorials created by Innovator Christian Mills in real-time style transfer and object detection form the basis for the contents of revision 1.0 of the Game Dev AI Toolkit

Also of note, Intel has partnered with game development asset-creator Procedural Worlds* to combine the AI inferencing power of the latest Intel® Graphics technology with their well-established and developer-friendly Gaia interface for Unity*. Gaia ML will integrate seamlessly with the AI GameDev Toolkit. Extending this AI power into Procedural Worlds’ next-generation Meta Worlds platform promises to elevate game-world-creation capabilities to a previously unimaginable level. You can now create richly textured worlds that feature complex and photo-realistic terrains, lush vegetation, and lifelike environmental systems—in mere minutes.
