Methodology / Approach

Puzzle Designs Ever Forward's puzzle elements don't build on a lot of mediocre similar elements, we set everything on the intrinsic core, and then gradually add new ones. New elements to make qualitative changes.

  1. Intrinsic elements

To add meaningless puzzle elements, it seems to allow players to constantly get fresh senses. In fact, it allows players to walk into the puzzle that has never been through. But they just make players feel confusion, so meaninglessly increased elements numbers aren't what we want! We want to make players solve puzzles through thinking.A set of inherent elements allows players to quickly become familiar with the game. Through the design and arrangements of those inherent elements can continue to give players fresh feelings.

  1. New elements developed gradually

We are not opposed to giving players a "freshness", we are against blindly giving players a "confusion", and against "quantity" instead of "quality" design methods. Our new elements will only be added after players are familiar with the inherent elements, and these newly developed elements are not new elements, but new elements that will completely change the game. Our game is divided into three stages, and new elements are gradually unlocked as the players move. The first stage is a stage where you are fully familiar with the inherent elements. In the second stage, we add the elements of the portal; in our puzzle design, every meter has its role, and the instant fast point-to-point movement brought by this stage can completely change the game. In the third stage, we add the element of gravity change; gravity change changes the entire puzzle from a plane-based design to a real three-dimensional space design, which is a new challenge for players.
