Overview / Usage

Solve four unique faces of the cube in order to progress through the cube-wide puzzle. Each side is harder than the last with some new mechanics in each one. Some mechanics even continue on multiple faces at once! Manipulate the cube in your favor in order to maneuver around the environment.

Methodology / Approach

Mainly wanted to focus on how we could combine entertaining puzzle mechanics with constraints on the player movements. How could we have each side of the cube harder than the last? How do we make a cube puzzle game linear? These are the questions we tried to tackle as we went on through our time working on this game. Constant communication between the four teammates were used through discord, emails, and trello to keep pace with the high demand from playtests and making sure everything worked the way it was supposed to. One person dealt with mechanics, one person dealt with art, one person dealt with level design, and one person made sure the entirety of the game did not break when all of these three methods were combined together.
