Overview / Usage
This project attempts to perform a network analysis of the corpus of legislature that has been generated by the United States Congress. We aim to provide visualizations of how every bill relates to one another, their topics, Congress sessions, sponsors, and cosponsors. Furthermore, by utilizing NLP methods we aim to uncover the patterns of speech used within the corpus to find patterns of speech that successfully proposed (enacted legislature) and unsuccessfully proposed legislature utilize.
