Overview / Usage
The project deals with the prediction of the age category a person falls in. This is an android and iOS application that consumes a REST API and helps in the aforesaid prediction. The model for the prediction has been created by Sayak Paul. This application serves the purpose of working with models as API endpoints and giving birth to a full stack Data Science project.
Methodology / Approach
The methodology is relatively simple. Sayak Paul making the model exposed it to a REST API. The API was consumed by me with my mobile application. The beauty of the project is the framework that I have used to make the application. Flutter is a framework that helps develop a single codebase for different application systems namely Android and iOS. The application can be ported to a desktop application and to web too. The application lets clicking pictures and sending the picture to the API endpoint specifid. The output of the application is the age category the person falls in.
