VIDEO: Intel Software Innovators and Intel Student Ambassadors at AI Summit Bangalore

Bangalore was the setting for the June 13-15 AI Summit for Intel Student Ambassadors and Intel Software Innovators. Twelve
Student Ambassadors and 17 Software Innovators trained on Intel tools and shared AI ideas and projects. The action-packed agenda included a hands-on workshop, recreational activities, a hackathon and a Gala Awards Night. Check out the highlight video or read more about the event here.

Tejumade Afonja at AI Saturdays Lagos

Innovator Tejumade Afonja is co-founder and organizer of AI Saturdays Lagos, an artificial intelligence community in Lagos, Nigeria offering free-to-attend classes on data science, machine learning and deep learning for 16 consecutive Saturdays through structured study groups. Tim & Alex Porter at STEAMAPALOOZA

In partnership with the Austin Police Department, the first annual Seedling STEAMAPALOOZA offered kids a chance to get hands-on with STEAM-related activities. Seedling Foundation is an organization that matches Mentors with Mentees for positive engagement from the day they are paired all the way through high school. Mentees of this organization are from underserved communities and all have a parent who is incarcerated. Seedling Foundation expressed a need to bring STEAM programming into the organization and provide exposure of unique technologies to this group of amazing young students. Innovators Tim and Alex Porter jumped in to help with this event for 120-140 kids in grades 6-12 during their annual summer camp.

Innovators Martin Foertsch and Thomas Endres gave a talk on real-time style transfer with AI at DWX Developer week. They also gave a Deepfakes 2.0 presentation talking about using deep neural networks to generate deepfakes in real-time.
