The oneAPI Innovator program salutes Abhishek Nandy for his many recent oneAPI-related achievements, naming him Innovator of the Month for October 2022. Abhishek is a co-founder and principal engineer at Dynopii AI-powered voice and digital automation.

The oneAPI Innovator program nurtures independent, forward-looking developers like Abhishek who use the standards-based oneAPI specification to simplify software development, integrate legacy code, and choose their best acceleration solution (processors, GPUs, FPGAs and others). This freedom of choice helps reduce development costs by allowing developers to leverage code across multiple architectures.

Intel supports these efforts with access to Intel® technology, resources, and expertise; early code, testing and research and career development opportunities -- through speakerships, articles, and DevSummit event showcases.

Among the multiple accomplishments that earned him recognition as Innovator of the Month, Abhishek was responsible for:
• Delivering a presentation on Implementation of oneAPI analytics toolkit in Medical Science at DevSummit SE Asia 2022.
• Writing a blog post about his DevSummit experience
• Publishing his project, Spatial Single Cell Analysis using Intel oneAPI AI Analytics toolkit
• Authoring an article on Medium, SYCL and Taskflow
• Attending monthly innovator calls – in fact, to celebrate his standout status in the program, Abhishek presented a lightning talk during October’s oneAPI Innovator NDA call

In addition to his work at Dynopii, Abhishek is an Intel-certified trainer in oneAPI DPC++ Essentials and Intel Graphics Innovator.

Both practitioner and teacher, Abhishek brings to oneAPI innovation a mix of research experience, entrepreneurial energy, and industry exposure. He worked on various domains such as pharmaceutical, manufacturing and retail, and led several teams in research and product development.

He presented his research work on Reinforcement Learning at ACM SIGGRAPH 2018 and was an invited educator at several leading premier education institutes in India. Abhishek also authored books on Reinforcement learning, Unity ML, Leap Motion, and Game engines. He was among the top 50 innovators participating in the first edition of the Make in India initiative. There, he received training for his product lifecycle to practice from IIMA and MHRD IT Dept of the Government of India.
