Overview / Usage

The project helps to solve the problem of accidents which has been a major cause of deaths all over the world as per WHO's health report 2017.
Its helps to :

  1. Make the commuter aware of nay accident prone zone in his route.
  2. Show the routes with minimum accident prone zone in them.
  3. Remind the commuter of driving to wear seat belts

Methodology / Approach

1.Using Big Data tools to produce list of accident prone spots from datasets that contain driving behaviour, collisions, breaking behavior .
2.Reproduce the accident hotspots on the commuter’s navigation map and alert him in advance about the hotspots for safe commuting.

Technologies Used

1.User Interface usage: HTML , CSS ,Jquery ,Ajax ,bootstrap

2.Big Data analytics - Hadoop ,Hive shell used to extract useful data from the datasets.

3.Google Maps APIs - geolocation , geometry , maps javascript , places , geocoding.

4.Application logic : javascript
