In celebration of Teen Tech Week, and in honor of International Women's Day, Arts and Communication Magnet Academy, in collaboration with Lumina Lab, the Intel Innovators Program and the ACMA Maker Club, presents a Maker Open House and Opening Reception for Stoicheia [ELEMENTS] on March 9 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM in the Performing Arts Center.
This is an all-ages event, open to the public, with a focus on inspiring and encouraging children, teens, and women to explore their interests in STEM and the arts! The Beaverton School District's Future Bus will greet attendees at the entrance of the Performing Arts Center. In addition to Stoicheia [ELEMENTS] and the Future Bus, there will be hands-on demonstrations of hardware and LED objects, multiple STEM-related exploration stations, and art activities. Light snacks will also be provided. Bring the family!
