Overview / Usage
Perovskites are actively competing with the power conversion efficiencies achieved by the traditional Silicon solar cells. However their instability towards the atmospheric conditions hinder their availability in the market.
Methodology / Approach
The synthesis of the mixed halide perovskite is via the standard hot injection method where the modifications to the perovskites are made in-situ while synthesis. Surfactants act as a barrier from various environmental conditions.
