Overview / Usage

PC Build focused primarily on creator work such as 3D modeling and rendering using Blender, and secondarily on gaming. The build allows for both Intel Arc GPUs to be used when rendering reducing rendering times. For Blender this is done using oneAPI as the GPU rendering API. No SLI or Crossfire like tech needed. Productivity and creator software leverage APIs to allow for artist and rendering workloads to have compute spread across a GPU

Methodology / Approach

The case and PC system was sourced and built via CyberPower PC website. The motherboard was chosen specifically to support the creator and rendering workloads while also being a solid solution for gaming. The ProArt Z690 motherboard is built for creators, with PCIe® 5.0, DDR5 support, Thunderbolt™ 4, 10 Gb and 2.5 Gb Ethernet, WiFi 6E, four PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots with heatsinks, plus a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 front panel connector with Quick Charge 4+ support.

The case was and cooling were selected to provide proper airflow for 2 GPUs and an i9 13900K CPU, but to be a more understated look compared to a gaming PC
