Overview / Usage

This analytics project revolves around the data of popular MOOC platforms Udemy and Edx collected from an unbiased dataset from kaggle. The focus of our analytics process will be the  following metrics :

  • Search volume overtime
  • Pricing
  • Completion rates
  • Ratio of cost to content (i.e. I pay $20 for 10 hours of content)

At the end of the analysis we will be able to determine which of the two popular platforms has the most search volume associated with it, which of the two offer courses at a lesser average cost than the other, which platform boasts the most course completions and we will be able to compare the average cost to content ratio of the two platforms.

This analysis helps students to decide which platform to choose for a better experience based on their needs and budget.
