Description

This work presents a model of an automation system through voice command and an app, which can be implemented in a car. From the observation of an increase in automated systems in general, nowadays, the possibility of insertion of this system in the automobile market, emphasizing the safety and practicality for the drivers and passengers, has been noticed. For this, technologies and methods of transmission and presentation of data were studied, as well as the choice of microcontrollers and devices to be used in order to build the system. The use of Arduino® as a microcontroller was made due to the price and the great availability of information and devices compatible with it, such as the speech recognition module used in the work. In addition, the MIT App Inventor, which is an application creation platform, was chosen because of the simplicity and ease of creating applications visually. With this publication, it is expected that more people will have interest and research in this area, in order to make vehicle automation closer to the reality in which we live, just as home automation has become more present in life of a larger portion of the population.
