Overview / Usage

The term ‘feedback’ is used to describe the helpful information or criticism about prior action or behavior from an individual, communicated to another individual (or a group) who can use that information to adjust and improve current and future actions and behaviors.

Feedback occurs when an environment reacts to an action or behavior. For example, ‘customer feedback’ is the buyers’ reaction to a company’s products, services, or policies; and ’employee performance feedback’ is the employees’ reaction to feedback from their manager – the exchange of information involves both performance expected and performance exhibited.

A predictive based learning algorithm is implemented on the huge data generated to give the stakeholders and the users of the system to come up with logical solutions and business approach like petrol pumps are using this data to create a Hygiene and sanitation score for there various retail outlets and predicting the user behavior.

Implementing the power of IoT and AI in the form of technology as an enabler for mass scale 77in order to improve the quality of infrastructure , service and management.

The system is currently deployed in Bharat Petroleum Corporations Ltd. petrol pump across the eastern region as a pilot project and to be deployed in other parts of the country too.

Methodology / Approach

The IoT architecture is being implemented across the layers for the functioning of the system. The hardware board for prototype consist of Arduino 101 OR Intel Genuino development boards with Grove IoT development kit for the sensors. The Wifi enabled board is used to send the data from the kit to the cloud Infrastructure which is hosted in Amazon Web Services(AWS) via MQTT protocol implemented at each Layer.
