Overview / Usage

Intruder Alert System is an IoT projects which aims to limit the prevelent problem of burglary in houses.
This system employs the concept of Internet of Things to alert the authorities and the owner using a GSM module.

  1. This helps to install an advanced security system in homes at low cost.
  2. AI powered technology for accurate identification

Methodology / Approach

  • Intruder Alert System is an IoT projects which makes use of LDR sensor module to detect light at the time of burglary.
  • The LDR sensor module is connected to GSM module sim800 which sends alert message to owner.
  • The owner when alerted is asked if he requires livefeed. At owner's descretion the Wi-Fi enabled nodeMCU ESP8266 records and provides live feed.
  • Livefeed is provided using using wi-fi enabled OV2640 ESP camera module.
  • Artificial intelligence enabled Computer Vision library openCV is used for face recognition . (under progress)
