Description

The book covers the usage of Python as the main programming language to work with electronic components, sensors and actuators connected to the Intel® Galileo Gen 2 board. The book uses the upm and mraa libraries to make it easy to interact with the board features, other electronic components, sensors and actuators. The book will take advantage of all the Python features to create complete IoT projects that provide RESTful APIs, use HTTP and MQTT protocols, and Intel® IoT Analytics Library.

The book has been published and I've added links to GitHub code files and Fritzing diagrams. Obviously, a special thanks to many Intel® Software Network members included in the acknowledgement section. The project started after a talk in San Francisco, CA, USA, with a few Intel® Software Network Black Belts and Intel® Software Network Staff.
