Game Developers - Get Qualified for Intel GameDev Boost

  • Intel GameDev Boost: Learn more about Boost here, and how Intel is helping indie game developers who qualify get exposure to Intel’s marketing programs which reach a billion gamers.
  • Self-Testing: Self-testing your game title and submitting to Intel for RGI certification (Runs Great on Intel technology) is the first step in applying for Boost. Detailed instructions on the self-testing process here.

Intel DevMesh Adds Self-Testing Submissions

The first step to receive Boost benefits is to have your game certified as Runs Great on Intel technology. To support indies, we've made a self testing process so any developer can produce test results to certify their game. However, until now that process was cumbersome. To streamline that process and to extend value to the developer community, we've incorporated the self testing submission process into Intel DevMesh.

This means your existing game titles on Intel DevMesh or future projects being submitted to Intel DevMesh can support the RGI self-testing process. When adding a game project or editing a game project, simply request to submit to RGI. By doing this you will be given a RGI form attached to your DevMesh project, allowing you to upload and fill out the information needed to submit for certification - the first step to receiving Boost benefits. After you submit your game, we will contact you with an evaluation and assist you with certification.

Benefits of Using DevMesh To Submit for RGI & Boost

While the RGI process via DevMesh is less cumbersome, cleaner and more streamlined using DevMesh, there are a host of additional benefits to game developers to joining the community. By submitting your game titles through DevMesh, IN addition to Intel GameDev Boost you also get access to the following.

  • Private vs Public projects - We support game titles shared either for private communication to Intel, or publicly, allowing your game title to be listed on DevMesh. If publicly, your game title gets another listing on a popular domain, increasing search results, and discoverability of your game. If privately you have a structured page / URL to communicate your game title to various Intel contacts and internal stakeholders.
  • Portfolio - As you post your game titles, game projects or even development methods and best practices to DevMesh, your are creating a public developer profile, that lists all your public projects, code samples and videos. Think of DevMesh like a Behance or ArtStation but for developers
  • Collaboration - DevMesh allows for team collaboration and editing of projects. You may have a virtual team like many indie developers, with some members creating art assets, others marketing, others code samples or video walk-thrus, DevMesh allows for all of them to collaborate with private communication and ability to post to the project.
  • Groups - DevMesh allows for community groups, where those of like mind, interest and discipline can share their work. You may find your city or geography has a community of game devs, and DevMesh a convenient way to list and discover the games from this community.
  • Member Programs & Reputation - The Intel DevMesh site is also the home of Intel developer programs members programs such as the Intel Software Innovator Program, Intel Black Belt and Student Ambassadors. These are leadership programs designed to provide benefits, sponsorships and early access information to developers are showcase examples of innovators, expertise or cutting edge research.

We are excited to add this functionality to DevMesh and support the indie game dev community with a Boost!
