Swag, DevMesh and Self Report

For Intel Software Innovators and Intel Insiders, posting to DevMesh and Self Report are now the same thing. For many years we’ve asked our most engaged community members to earn credit in our programs by self reporting. This process allowed us to capture all the amazing development work, content and event engagements by the most valuable members of our community. However, the process was tedious and often a duplication of the much of what was already published on Intel DevMesh or Insiders Hub.
New Reporting Process: Now we’ve cleaned up this process and have a simple elegant way to report by simply posting or linking content into DevMesh or Insiders Hub. These are the 3 categories for reporting and publishing you can now get credit for, along with simple instructions on how to post

  • Post Content: This category is for any content on the web where you have contributed content around your expertise and work with Intel technologies. This could be a YouTube video, a blog post, or an article written by a 3rd party about your work. All you need to report this is a title, description, and URL. To post this content, first login to DevMesh or Insiders Hub. Then Add Posts. If your content has a URL on the web simply select that the content is “external to the site” then add the Title, Description and URL and Publish
TIP: Any content on the web about your can be posted here, simply check external to the site and add the URL. When doing this, it is is highly recommended you include an Image.

  • Events: This is for any activity where you contributed time and expertise at an event where an audience heard and or saw your work and expertise either live in person or a digital event. Events have a title, a description, a date, attendees, duration and a location. If your event is virtual, simply add your location as the location.
TIP: You can post events before or after they happen and you can if you like estimate the attendees and duration of your activity ahead of your event. To do this publish an event item by going to Add Event here.

  • Projects: This one is probably the most obvious but if you have a technical project, you can get credit in the program by posting that project to DevMesh as a new project. To report and post a project goto Add Project
TIP: If you have an old project that has new capabilities, a new audience, and or refocused use case, simply add revitalized projects as new projects to the site with new information.
Updated Profiles: With this new process we have updated your profiles allowing you to see all of your activity in our program. Your entire history of projects, events and content are now available, as well as a subset of your code repos and videos connected to your projects. We believe these profiles are highly valuable for our dedicated program members, allowing you to see your full history of work, content and event activity in one place.
