Challenge rules

Note these rules are subject to change, until Dec 1st.

This is an open challenge intended to celebrate talent, skill, and enthusiasm for visually exciting work crafted by developers and creators part of the software process. There are no prizes here but instead an offer of time and attention to exceptional work and talent. This challenge is open to anyone following these rules below. Intel employees can participate but will not be reviewed for top post recognition.

Content - Submissions

The content shared for this challenge should be visually interesting, intriguing and be created using methods or techniques either part of the development process or a creator process leveraging nodes, scripting and or procedural techniques.

The poster must have created the content or been a collaborator in the content posted and shared. A poster can submit multiple times. Each post will be evaluated using the Top 3 Posts rules below.

Content must also align to the terms of intel.com website with the poster having ownership/rights to the content, and the content is free of disparaging content or vulgarity: see terms (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/legal/terms-of-use.html.)


Sharing into the Challenge

To qualify for review you work will need to be posted between the dates of Dec 1st to Dec 31st 2019 via ONE or BOTH of these methods.

  1. Post the content to Twitter using the tag #DevArtDecember
  2. Post as a project here in Intel DevMesh and post into this Group (https://devmesh.intel.com/groups/2733)

Top 3 Posts

Intel will select the top 3 posts after this challenge concludes. These top 3 posts will be selected per the following

  • Most Engagement: Post with the most Likes on Twitter
  • Most Likes on DevMesh: The project posted to this group with the most Likes will be selected
  • Intel's Favorite: One post will be selected as Intel's favorite post from the challenge Should a post fit more than one category then a second best will be selected based on the above order. Thus 3 separate projects will be selected

Top Recognition The top 3 posts (from non Intel employees) will be selected for attention and amplification from Intel.

  • Shared via Intel Software social media channels in 2020
  • Written article showcasing the work
  • Reviewed for additional resources, engineering support from assistance to progress the work further
  • Submitter reviewed for candidacy in the Intel Software Innovator program where there is potential for speaker-ships, hardware seeding, and early road-map disclosures from Intel. (must be 18 years of age, and subject to approval of employer, and otherwise free from conflicts in working with Intel)
