What is oneAPI?

oneAPI is a cross-industry, open, standards-based unified programming model that delivers a common developer experience across accelerator architectures—for faster application performance, more productivity, and greater innovation. The oneAPI industry initiative encourages collaboration on the oneAPI specification and compatible oneAPI implementations across the ecosystem.

About the oneAPI Developer Summit

The first 2021 oneAPI Developer Summit was part of International Workshop on OpenCL (IWOCL). The Summit hosted industry and academia speakers working on innovative cross-platform, multi-vendor architecture solutions developed on oneAPI. The one-day virtual event on April 26th focused on oneAPI and Data Parallel C++ for accelerated computing across xPU architectures (CPU, GPU, FPGA, and other accelerators)

The Summit featured speakers from different companies and Universities around the globe including Codeplay, EURECOM, University of Lisboa, Xilinx, and much more. Their presentations showcased their innovative work attracting early adopter HPC developers working with oneAPI, DPC++ and heterogenous computing offload on CPU, GPU, and FPGA.
