Overview / Usage

World creation is difficult, and getting OpenVINO and other ML frameworks up in running is even more so.

Gaia ML is a collaboration between Procedural Worlds and Intel that allows anyone to create worlds, and then add ML frameworks into them with a few button clicks in Unity 3D.

Gaia ML integrates the AI GameDev Toolkit by Intel, and provides a UX framework that makes it easy to configure ML models for rapid iteration and experimentation.

Gaia ML embeds the OpenVINO ML inferencing system, and provides sample Style Transfer, and Object Recognition demonstrations.

Gaia ML is a free download that is hosted on Canopy by Procedural Worlds. Canopy is a community backed by a growing collection of assets, tools and educational resources to educate and facilitate the development, scaling and performance tuning of rich worlds and environments for games, serious games, and simulations in Unity 3D.

Methodology / Approach

We have been a top grossing publisher since we launched on the Unity Asset Store in 2015.

During this time, in addition to being a publisher we have taken on a range of projects from companies like BMW, Google and Wargamming.net, and have in particular focused on how to create and scale massive worlds, mmo's and games in Unity 3D.

Gaia ML is a powerful subset of Gaia Pro 2021, which is the most popular terrain and scene generation system ever on the Unity Asset Store.

Canopy brings our tools and knowledge into one place, and provides tools, tutorials, forums, a library and downloads so that other people can benefit from what we have learned.
