Overview / Usage
ARK-ADE is our first project, we decided to start with something rather small and easy to accomplish, that's why we went for an arcade shooter. We fell in love with VR at first sight so we decided to start developing for Virtual Reality, after 2 years we don't regret it.
Methodology / Approach
We had to learn everything from scratch. None of the team had any experience in the gaming industry.
It took a lot of time, hard work and a ridiculus number of hours on youtube tutorials.
A lot of things needed to be re-done more than once to make them work where an expert would have probably done something right from the start.
Technologies Used
We used Unreal Engine 4 to make ARK-ADE, We couldn't have done it without Epic Games Engine that for sure!
